This ministry encompasses both Infants & Wobblers (birth to 3 years) and Adventure Land (3 years to Kindergarten). All of our children’s ministries have a secure check-in system in place to help ensure the safety of your children.

In Infants & Wobblers, your children will be attended to by caring adults who are passionate about showing Christ’s love to children.

Infants & Wobblers is provided at 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on Sundays.

In Adventure Land, our goal is to provide a safe environment for children to learn fundamental Biblical truths through Bible stories, crafts, and other activities.

Adventure Land has sessions at both 9:30 and 10:30 on Sunday mornings.

MCC Kids is our ministry for children, 1st through 5th grade. All of our children’s ministries have a secure check-in system in place to help ensure the safety of your children

Our goal is to provide a safe environment for children to learn fundamental Biblical truths through praise & worship, Bible stories, crafts, and other activities. We want to see kids learn about and grow closer to Jesus.

MCC Kids has sessions at both 9:30 and 10:30 on Sunday mornings.

MCC Youth is our ministry for students, 6th through 12th grade.

We understand that teenagers are at a critical time in their lives. With so many voices competing for their attention, we strive to create an environment that focuses on God and what He says. Our goal is to raise up faithful followers of Jesus through Bible study, small groups, fellowship, and more.

MCC Youth meets for Sunday School at 9:30, and also meets at 5:30 on Sunday evenings.

Alongside our classes for children and students during the 9:30 hour, we also have Sunday School for adults.

Our Adult Sunday School class aims to create a non-threatening environment that is open for discussion and testimony. Biblical teaching is presented in a setting more similar to a small group rather than a classroom, and discussion is encouraged.

Adult Sunday School meets at 9:30 on Sunday mornings.

Torch is our Wednesday night ministry at Merriam. The evening starts off with dinner by donation @5:30 p.m. Then at 6:15 p.m., our different ministry groups start. Groups include (but are not limited to) Adult Bible Study, Young Adults Group, Kids Ministry, Youth Ministry, Mentorship, Mens Group, Ladies Group, and College Group.

Each week, some of these groups meet, but not all meet every week. Because of this, you can be participate in more than one group! For example, if you wanted to be a part of the Young Adults Group, but didn’t want to miss out on the Mens or Ladies Group, you don’t have to! Young Adults Group meets one Wednesday, and the Mens or Ladies Group meets on another Wednesday.

We hope you will join us on Wednesdays as we meet together to encourage one another and spur each other on in relationship with Christ.

Torch meets on Wednesdays nights at 5:30 p.m. for dinner and 6:15 p.m. for ministry in two semester-style blocks. For the Fall 2023- Spring 2024 calendar, Torch plans to meet September through mid-November and mid-January through early April.
